A show of paintings by Doug MacBean. This was my first solo art exhibit. A intimidating, but rewarding adventure for me.

Frederick Horsman Varley, the famous Canadian Artist; lived in this very house, at one time.

Visit the go to Fred Varley Gallery  web site for additional information regarding the arts in Markham.
The Varley Gallery is just one block north of the Kathleen McKay Art Centre.

I would like to say thank you to all those who attended my art show in Unionville.
It was a great success considering the short time I had to prepare for this one.
I had so many compliments on the quality of the work and the variety in subject matter. I now have a much larger mailing list for my next show.

Artists never tire of hearing positive reaction from visitors, to the work on show, no matter what level of achievement.
All of you were very gracious and supportive. It was fun talking to and meeting each of my visitors.

And a special thanks to my personal friends and family, who helped with the gallery and provided moral support.
